Hand sewn in my shop using 1.43oz/yd CT5K.18 Dyneema fabric and Gutermann Mara 70 thread. The seams are taped and a nylon webbing across top makes for easy rolling. These bags are not 100% waterproof (not submersible) but do resist moisture. Dyneema Composite Fabric (formerly Cuben Fiber), is a patented, high-end laminate fabric constructed from non-woven composites utilizing space-age DSM Dyneema fibers. Dyneema offers an unmatched strength to weight ratio. As Dyneema is handled and sewn, it will look crinkled when you receive it and it will get softer to the touch but retain all strength as it used. The Grey/Silver Dyneema is not 100% see through and is more grey/white in color. Gutermann MARA 70 thread is very strong, high-quality polyester thread commonly used for in applications where a stronger, more abrasion resistant thread is needed.
